PURSUANT TO A.R.S. § 38-341.02, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN TO THE MEMBERS OF THE YAVAPAI ACCOMMODATION SCHOOL DISTRICT AND TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC THAT THE GOVERNING BOARD WILL HOLD A MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AND CONDUCTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH A.R.S. § 38-431.01 ETAL. ON:

MINUTES

Item A. Call to Order, Welcome and Introductions

Board President, Mr. Tim Carter, opened the meeting at 3:00pm. Present for the meeting was Superintendent Carter, Allison Fontana, and Kellie Burns.

No public participated in the meeting.

Item D. Consent Agenda

(All of these items can be voted on with one motion, unless the Board or a member of the public would like to consider an item separately.)

  1. Consider and approve the agenda as presented.
  2. Consider and approve the minutes from the July 14, 2020 Board Meeting.
  3. Consider and approve the minutes from the June 27, 2020 Special Board Meeting.
  4. Consider and ratify per [A.R.S. §15-321):
    1. Accounts Payable voucher(s) in the amount of:
      • VO# 9026 – $3,388.52
      • VO# 9027 – $19,535.20
      • VO# 8100 – $100.00
      • VO# 8101 – $57,340.62
    2. Payroll voucher(s) in the amount of:
      • VO# 1 PP# 1 – $15,182.78
      • VO# 2 PP# 2 – $14,205.12

Item E. Action

  1. Consider and approve the FY20-21 Addendum #4 to E-Rate Services Agreement between Yavapai County School Superintendent and YASD.
    • This item was considered and approved. Mrs. Kellie Bums signed on behalf of the district. President Tim Carter voted yes.
  2. Consider and approve the YASD FY20-21 Performance Pay 301 Program.
    • This item was considered and approved. President Tim Carter voted yes.
  3. Consider and approve the second read of policy advisory no. 672 through 676.

Policy advisory no. 672 through 676 were considered and approved. President Tim Carter voted yes. Policy advisory 672 with the exception that no mash is required when a staff member is alone in an isolated, non-shared area of the school or school vehicle. Policy advisory 674 will include students’ failure to follow this policy will result in insubordination. Policy advisory 675 will include failure to follow this policy will result in the parent being escorted outside the building to continue business. Policy advisory 675 will include failure to follow this policy will result in the visitor being escorted outside the building to continue business.
