Item A. Call to Order, Welcome and Introductions

Board President, Mr. Tim Carter, opened the meeting at 3:00pm. Present for the meeting was Superintendent Carter, Allison Fontana, and Kellie Bums.

Item D. Consent Agenda

(All of these items can be voted on with one motion, unless the Board or a member of the public would like to consider an item separately.)

  1. Consider and approve the agenda as presented.
  2. Consider and approve the minutes from the April 9, 2019 Board Meeting.
  3. Consider and approve the minutes from the April 23, 2019 Special Board Meeting.
  4. Consider and ratify per [A.R.S. §15-321]:
    1. Accounts Payable voucher(s) in the amount of:
      • VO# 8119 – $22,008.00
      • VO# 8120 – $10,180.14
      • VO# 8121 – $29,764.70
      • VO# 8122 – $45,731.12
    2. Payroll voucher(s) in the amount of:
      • VO# 22 PP# 21 – $27,705.56
      • VO# 23 PP# 22 – $27,596.32

The consent agenda was considered and approved. President Carter voted yes.

Item E. Presentation and Discussion

Anthony Isola to present and discuss teaching the Bible as an elective credit.

No action was taken on the presentation. Mrs. Kellie Bums to look into how many students would be interested in taking this as an elective and who can provide this as an online class.

Item F. Action

Consider and approve FY19-20 Board Authorization for Time Slip Approval.

This item was considered and approved. President Tim Carter voted yes. Kellie Bums and Allison Fontana authorized to sign payroll time slips.

Consider and approve FYl 9-20 Payroll Statement of Authorization.

This item was considered and approved. President Tim Carter voted yes.

Consider and approve FY19-20 Expense Voucher Statement of Authorization.

This item was considered and approved. President Tim Carter voted yes.

Consider and approve the Memorandum of Understanding between Yavapai County Education Service Agency (YCESA) and Yavapai Accommodation School District (YASD) for providing the FY19-20 IDEA Consolidated Entitlement services.

This item was considered and approved. President Tim Carter voted yes.

Consider and approve the FY19-20 Intergovernmental Agreement for Alternative Education Programs between Chino Valley Unified School District and Yavapai Accommodation School District.

This item was considered and approved. President Tim Carter voted yes.

Consider and approve the FY19-20 Renewal #2 Agreement for Shared Janitorial Services between Mountain Institute Career Technical Education District and Yavapai Accommodation School District.

This item was considered and approved. President Tim Carter voted yes.

Consider and approve the FY18-19 revised budget.

This item was considered and approved. President Tim Carter voted yes.

Consider and approve the summer school stipend for Jessica Marks.
