Good morning! Just a reminder that the YASD Diamondbacks Game outing is today! The game starts at 5:10 and YASD will be honored at home plate! The school bus will leave Aspire at 2:00 sharp and will not be able to make any stops between leaving YASD and arriving at the ballpark. Don’t forget your tickets because we don’t have extras! Also, remember they have a clear bag policy! Have a great time and safe travels to all! “PLAY BALL!”

Greetings YASD Families! Just a reminder the bus will be leaving at 2:00 pm sharp on Saturday from Aspire High School for those of you attending the Diamondbacks game via school bus. Do not forget your tickets! We don’t have any extras. All students and children must have an adult present in order to ride the bus. We will not be able to make any pit stops for bathroom breaks because we were just notified that our staff needs to arrive by 4:00 at the latest! Use the restroom before you get on the bus. Yavapai Accommodation School district update on Diamondbacks trip on Saturday, May 7th. Due to lack of interest in riding the bus, we have one bus instead of two going to the Diamondbacks game. The bus will arrive at Aspire at 1:45 PM and will leave the camps at 2:00 PM to head to Phoenix. ALL STUDENTS AND CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT. Students and children will not be allowed to ride the bus without an adult. We hope you have an enjoyable time! Go DBacks!

Great news! We have two school buses scheduled to take people down to the Diamondbacks Game on Saturday, May 7th! PLEASE DO NOT FORGET YOUR TICKETS BECAUSE WE DO NOT HAVE EXTRAS! The buses will arrived at the Aspire campus at 1:45 PM with a departure time of 2:00 PM! All students and their friends and families are welcome to ride the buses! Come early so you are better guaranteed a seat! First come, first served!

YASD STUDENTS — IMPORTANT INFO! Excessive absences (frequently being absent or frequently arriving late and leaving early) may result in loss of credit! You absolutely cannot excessively miss school, arrive late or leave early if you are expecting to earn credit for your classes! Many students have adopted this alarming habit. Please be aware of the consequences of your decisions!

Attention YASD families: We have school next Monday, April 18th!!! This was set aside as our snow day make up day! Because we had a snow day on February 23rd, this is the day we set aside to make up for those snow days! SCHOOL IS IN SESSION NEXT MONDAY, APRIL 18th AND IS A REGULAR SCHOOL DAY! Great job and shout out to our students who are keeping track of our calendar and using our website!

This is a reminder to students who are thinking about enrolling in JTED/CTED courses next school year or are planning to attend Yavapai College in the Fall! We will be taking those students to Yavapai College on Tuesday, March 22nd. Permission slips were sent home last week and are required and must be returned before we leave! Please note the items in red that students must bring with them. If you have questions or need another permission slip, please contact the office tomorrow. See you tomorrow!

Greetings YASD Families - Every Monday, your student gets a piece of colored paper called "paychecks" notifying you about their academic and behavioral success for the previous week. The students are required to get a parent signature. They are designed to reward students on good choices and to notify you of their academic and behavioral reports for that week. Your student should be asking you to review and sign this document every Monday evening and return it to their teachers on Tuesday mornings. Students then are awarded bracelets of different colors, indicating their privileges at school This practice has been in place for several months so if this is new news to you, please contact the school immediately so we can explain the procedure! 928 759 8126. Greetings YASD students!   This is a reminder that classes need to be completed no later than Thursday, December 16th unless you have been granted an Incomplete.  Very few students are granted Incompletes based on special circumstances.  Please work diligently on your classes to ensure that you complete them by December 16th at 4:00 pm.  Unfinished classes will result in a failing grade and will have to be repeated.   Also, go to our website at www.yasd99.com and scroll down to the bottom of the screen.  Upload our app to your phone for immediate messages!  Snow is going to be coming soon and you will want to know if we have any cancelations!  These cancelations will be sent through this app!  Please share this with your parents as well!   Please let me know if you have any questions!   Have a wonderful day.   Mrs. Burns
