Greetings YASF families! We have had some inquiries about wearing costumes to school on Monday in celebration of Halloween! Students MAY wear costumes as long as they are school appropriate and meet the dress code requirements! Students who are inappropriately dressed and/or do not meet dress code may be asked to go home. Have a great weekend! See you on Halloween Day!
Greetings YASD families! A few weeks ago we sent a message out about attendance. We notified you that students with excessive absences risk having to do restart classes because they have not met attendance requirements. In a “regular” school, classes would automatically be failed at the end of the semester. Because we are an accommodation school, we can simply “reset” their classes to redo for a grade. If you are a students who arrives on Monday with classes reset we HIGHLY encourage you to come to school on time every day so you can earn credit for these classes. Make your education a priority. You cannot go wrong by earning a high school diploma! See you Monday!
